Spanish flavours and fragrances producer Iberchem Group has inaugurated a new production facility in Bangkok, Thailand, its fourth manufacturing site in Southeast Asia.
The new site will feature a creative centre, production plant, application and analytical labs and a commercial office, and will produce flavours for the company’s Scentium division and fragrances for its Iberchem brand.
Iberchem says that the site has been opened to build upon the recent commercial success the company has experienced in the region, and the facilities at the site will allow it to shorten delivery times and effectively adapt its offering to clients throughout Southeast Asia.
Ramón Fernández, CEO of Iberchem Group said: “This new facility will allow the company to capture swiftly the evolving needs of this fast-growing and fast-changing market.
“Our expansion in South Asia is a cornerstone of our 2023 business plan for both our flavour and fragrance divisions.
