Packaging firms Bway, Mauser Group, National Container Group (NCG) and Industrial Container Services (ICS) have unified to create a new company under the name Mauser Packaging Solutions.
The new business aims to combine “the rich history and innovation” of Bway and Mauser Group with “the global recollection and reconditioning capabilities” of NCG and ICS.
Mauser Packaging Solutions is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, and employs more than 11,000 people worldwide. It has annual revenue of $4 billion.
The company said its packaging is suitable for concentrates, wine, syrups, frozen fruit, pickles as well as dairy and bakery products.
Ken Roessler, Mauser Packaging Solutions CEO, said: “When developing our growth strategy, we recognised that customers were looking for a global partner to deliver sustainable packaging solutions and close the loop from purchase to reuse.
“For the first time, businesses have a single partner who can deliver an industry-leading portfolio of products and services, of the highest quality and widest range, around the world.
“And our team members are the best in the industry – passionate, innovative and committed to solving complex customer challenges and building lifelong relationships based on service. We are truly excited and focused on the future.”
The firm’s new tagline, ‘redefining sustainability’, seeks to reflect its aim of serving customers of all four legacy companies “with capabilities that span every phase of the packaging process”.
