Irish brand Truly Yours has launched a range of granola and yogurt snack packs to the European market, featuring recyclable packaging that doubles up as a dish as well as a non-plastic spoon.
Four flavours are available: fruity granola with strawberry yogurt, natural granola with peach and passionfruit yogurt, nutty granola with cherry yogurt, and seed granola with raspberry yogurt. Each variant features 50g of granola and 100ml of yogurt.
Truly Yours said it is responding to the increase in popularity of granola and yogurt as a breakfast combination.
Joe O’Connor of Truly Yours describes the new line as “a perfect solution to a simple healthy breakfast and convenient all-day snack”.
“The Bord Bia Consumer Lifestyle Programme highlights how our busy lives just get busier,” he said. “With that has come a demand for on-the-go food, but food that is better for us is now more the norm in order to give us the right energy. We believe our granola/yoghurt combo fills that gap in the market.”
The ambient range has a long shelf life and Truly Yours expects it to be popular with vending machine operators, retail travel locations and service station operators.
Truly Yours is the sister company of pork products manufacturer Truly Irish.
