British soft drinks company 40 Kola has launched a new lemon-lime flavour as it aims to “drive a craft soda revolution”.
The beverage is the first addition to follow the brand’s original 40 Kola, introduced last year. Made from real lemon juice and unrefined cane sugar, the new soda has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
40 Kola said a crisp blend of zingy lemon and lime has been brought together to create a “quintessential lemonade taste without any hidden stuff”.
The lemon-lime flavour marks the first launch of 40 Kola’s new 40 Additions range.
40 Kola co-founder Dan Young said: “After the success of our signature 40 Kola we wanted to add to our offering and continue to drive a craft soda revolution in the UK. 40 Additions is an extension of 40 Kola whilst still staying true to our ethos of great natural flavours.
“More and more people are seeking premium soft drink options and we want to make sure they have a great-tasting, natural option. We are looking to build upon our eclectic selection with modern twists on much-loved classics. No artificial flavours, no compromise on quality, just great taste. Our new flavour is just the beginning of something really exciting.”
The lemon and lime drink is available in the UK with a recommended retail price of £24 for a pack of 12.
Further drinks are expected to be released by 40 Kola over the coming months.
