Scotland-based Graham’s The Family Dairy has expanded its Goodness portfolio of products with a new cottage cheese range featuring a fruit layer.
Three flavours are available – strawberry, peach and black cherry – each containing more than 18g of protein and millions of live bacteria.
Made with Scottish milk from more than 110 farming partners, each pot consists of a cottage cheese layer on top of the fruity compote.
Robert Graham, managing director of Graham’s the Family Dairy, said: “Cottage cheese as a new addition to our Goodness range balances perfectly with all our latest high-protein dairy products due to their natural, fresh ingredients created by a Scottish family business.
“Our Goodness ice cream has exceeded all expectations and we hope that people are just as keen to try our cottage cheese with fruit layer. As a tasty, healthy snack, Goodness cottage cheese is high in protein and with millions of live bacteria, is great for your gut too.
“Innovation and product development are something we pride ourselves on. Graham’s The Family Dairy has grown through three generations of dairy farmers. Celebrating our 80th anniversary this year, we will continue to create delicious and nutritional dairy products for our customers from all over Scotland, as well as the rest of the UK.”
Julian Mellentin, director of nutrition and health consultancy New Nutrition Business, added: “The taste and healthfulness of cottage cheese has always been understood but this is the first time a product has raised the bar with taste, interesting flavours and convenience.”
The Goodness ice cream line was released in March, with five flavours available: white chocolate with raspberry ripple, salted caramel, espresso caramel, mint choc chip and chocolate dulce de leche.
Earlier this year, Graham’s entered into a five-year partnership with Aldi worth approximately £55 million to supply all 85 of the supermarket’s stores in Scotland.
