Kellogg’s has appointed Chris Silcock – its current senior sales director – as its new vice president and chief of the UK and Irish business, effective immediately.
The appointment follows a series of internal promotions as Silcock succeeds Oli Morton, who has been promoted to run Kellogg’s businesses across Western Europe.
Silcock joined the multinational food manufacturer in August 2018 and has overseen the business as it continues to grow sales of both breakfast cereals and its Pringles brand. This includes the launch of products such as Coco Pops White Chocolate with 30% less sugar and Pringles Rice Fusion.
Prior to joining Kellogg’s, Silcock served as grocery channel director at Coca Cola European Partners. He previously held the position as field sales director at Coca Cola Enterprises and has held a variety of roles at Asda Walmart for 13 years.
Silcock said: “I’ve really enjoyed the challenge, helping to build close relationships with our customers to ensure that both we and our trade partners succeed together.
“But now I have the great privilege to be leading the whole of Kellogg’s across Britain and Ireland – a business which has an outstanding history, first-class reputation and world-class people. I’m excited for the future and what the team and I can achieve together.”

The former chief of Kellogg’s UK and Irish business, Oli Morton, joined the company in July 2016 and served in the role since October 2017.
Morton said: “It goes without saying that I’m immensely proud to have led Kellogg’s in the UK and Ireland during which time we have delivered growth and taken leadership stances across our categories to become Britain’s most trusted food company.
“That’s led us to do things which many may not have expected – like substantial sugar reduction on Coco Pops and the adoption of traffic light labelling on our packs.
“I’m looking forward to working with Chris and the rest of the UK business in my new role and to continuing our leadership journey.”
