US snacks company Farm Rich has launched a line of microwavable single-serve snacks with custom dipping sauces.
Called Time Outs, the products have up to 21g of protein and are targeted at consumers with busy lifestyles who are seeking more convenience.
Four varieties are now available in the US: pepperoni pizza roll-ups with marinara sauce, fiesta chicken roll-ups with mild poblano ranch sauce, boneless chicken bites with sweet BBQ sauce, and mozzarella bites with marinara sauce.
“With the average person eating five snack meals a week, variety and protein are important,” said Shannon Gilreath, Farm Rich director of marketing.
“Our new Time Outs were created for busy consumers looking for quick-to-prepare food options that satiate hunger. Time Outs can easily be stocked in the freezer to help when cravings come on and to boost energy at any time of day.”
The 6-7oz Time Outs are priced between $3.49 to $4.49 and come in an individual microwavable heat-and-eat box.
The range is now on sale in the freezer section at Walmart and Publix stores.
