Organic drinks brand Little Miracles has launched two new low-calorie and low-sugar sparkling ice teas across Europe.
With less than 40 calories per bottle, Sparkling Orange Lemongrass Ice Tea is blended with ginger and agave and offers a ‘zesty aromatic’ flavour of orange.
Sparkling Pomegranate Ice Tea, meanwhile, is a combination of pomegranate, green tea, acai berries and ginseng, with less than 50 calories and zero additives.
Described as the ‘perfect pick me up’, Little Miracles claims its drink offers the healing properties of ginseng and antioxidant-rich acai berry.
As the company strives to improve its eco-credentials, the sparkling ice teas are bottled in 100% recyclable packaging. Its latest launch represents it move towards becoming completely plastic-free as a brand by summer 2023.
Little Miracles’ founder Frederik Senger said: “This is a truly exciting launch for us as we move to halve our plastic production by the end of the year. Little Miracles was one of the first brands in Europe to repackage its drinks range with new, sustainable options.
“We decided to launch our organic Juice Shots in glass bottles, package our 1l ice tea in plant-based Tetra Paks, and now we’ve taken our original ice tea, put it in a 100% recyclable aluminium can and made it sparkling.”
The new range is available to purchase for an RRP of £1.29 per bottle and is rolling out across Europe with Rewe and Edeka, with more stockist lined up for summer.
