Diageo-owned Baileys has introduced an Apple Pie Irish Cream Liqueur in the US as a limited time offering this autumn.
The new beverage offers Bailey’s take on a classic autumn treat and aims to highlight the ‘timeless’ flavour of apple pie mixed with the taste of Irish cream.
Baileys Apple Pie Irish Cream Liqueur claims to blend the classic flavours of freshly baked apple pie and creamy vanilla ice cream with hints of cinnamon and spice.
The brand says it can be enjoyed neat, over ice, in coffee or chai tea or even over ice cream.
Baileys has also partnered with home delivery service Cocktail Courier and celebrity pastry chef and TV personality Zac Young to curate a Baileys Apple Pie Friendsgiving Kit.
With the aim of encouraging consumers to celebrate Friendsgiving a little early this year, the kit features ingredients to make The Apple of My Chai cocktail, along with warmly spiced cookies that are infused with a Baileys Apple Pie filling and topped with oat crumble.
“Apple pie is a timeless, nostalgic American treat meant to be shared among loved ones. With the launch of Baileys Apple Pie, we hope to provide consumers with a convenient way to experience this familiar comfort,” said Stacey Cunningham, director of liqueurs at Diageo.
The Baileys Apple Pie Friendsgiving Kit is now available nationwide via Cocktail Courier, while a single 750ml bottle of the apple pie flavoured liqueur can be purchased in retailers for an RRP of $24.99.
Last year, Baileys launched a limited-edition Baileys Red Velvet variant in partnership with Georgetown Cupcake.
