US dairy cooperative Tillamook County Creamery Association has launched a low-fat yogurt line that includes two side-by-side flavours.
Tillamook’s Creamery Collection is made by blending milk with a proprietary blend of nine cultures and probiotics to create a “mild and creamy yogurt”.
The range features six flavour combinations: Oregon Strawberry paired with Plain; Northwest Raspberry paired with Blackberry; Oregon Blueberry paired with Vanilla; California Peach paired with Plain; Dark Cherry paired with Plain; and Vanilla Bean paired with Plain.
Described as “not too sweet and not too tart”, the yogurts contain 13-14g of protein and 9-10g of sugar per serving, with no artificial sweeteners, flavours or preservatives.
According to Tillamook, consumers can add their choice of toppings to the yogurts making them ideal for breakfast or as a snack.
Each cup includes two side-by-side flavours that can be enjoyed one by one or swirled together.
“Satisfying or delicious? Function or flavour? Most yogurts make you choose,” said Lara Gish, senior category manager of cultured products at Tillamook.
She added: “We created Tillamook Creamery Collection to allow yogurt lovers to create their perfect bite. Each cup includes two side-by-side flavours that can be enjoyed one by one or swirled together, while also rich in protein so it’s more satisfying. Every spoonful is crafted the Tillamook way—with quality ingredients and no shortcuts.”
Most recently, Tillamook added cheeseboards – combining cheese, fruit spreads and artisanal crackers – and Farmstyle Cream Cheese Spreads to its portfolio.
Tillamook’s Creamery Collection will be available to purchase in October at retailers in Oregon, Washington, Colorado and Portland. The line will expand throughout the West in 2021.
