Lavazza is launching the first coffee subscription service for its Lavazza Blue professional capsule system, which will be available to small and medium offices in the UK.
Originally launched in 2004, the Lavazza Blue capsule range includes espresso, lungo coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea and hot chocolate variants, which are compatible with Lavazza’s Classy Mini & MilkEasy and Classy Custom Milk coffee machines.
According to Lavazza, the new subscription service will allow office managers to offer ‘an authentic coffee shop experience’ in the workplace, as the service will allow customers to purchase a machine for £1, with a minimum order of 200 capsules.
Office managers will also be able to choose the frequency and quantity of the capsules delivered through the service, to meet the needs of their workplace.
The launch of the new service follows the recent introduction of an at-home subscription service by the company.
David Rogers, managing director at Lavazza UK said: “Following the success of the at-home subscription service for consumers, we are delighted to be launching this innovative solution that provides UK offices with coffee shop quality at a competitive price.
“Lavazza Blue is a stand-out professional capsule system, which we’ve shaped overtime to bring the ultimate Italian coffee break to any workplace.”
