Nature’s One launches A2 milk versions of infant formula in US

US Nature’s One has introduced a reformulated range of toddler formula that is now made with organic A2 milk.

The company has made the change to two of its products under its Baby’s Only brand: premium dairy toddler formula and premium dairy DHA/ARA toddler formula.

According to Nature’s One, A2 milk is known to be easier to digest and is said to resolve certain dairy digestive sensitivities. The proteins found in A2 milk also aid muscle growth and development. 

“True to our mission, our science team is always innovating our current formulas to help make them even better for your child,” said Jay Highman, founder and CEO of Nature’s One.

He continued: “We are proud to offer two Premium Toddler Formulas now made with A2 milk. Studies have repeatedly shown A2 milk offers a variety of digestive benefits including improved tolerance. It is also believed that the A2 casein composition of A2 milk is more similar to breast milk, which may explain its better digestive properties.” 

With its reformulated products, Nature’s One aims to offer a healthier alternative to A1 milk. Currently, other formulas under its Baby’s Only range will not contain A2 milk due to the different protein sources – such as plant-based pea formula – addressing other sensitive needs.

However, Nature’s One says its science team will continue to innovate all dairy protein sources towards A2. Earlier this year, Mead Johnson also launched an infant formula under its Enfamil brand that contains A2 milk proteins.

Both Nature’s One A2 milk products are available online and at retailers such as Whole Foods Markets and Sprouts Farmers Market nationwide.
