US brand Boxed Water Is Better has announced the launch of a new line of naturally flavoured purified waters.
The Michigan-based company’s latest offerings aim to address the need for sustainable single-use options as plastic use related to the Covid-19 pandemic ‘surges’.
Boxed Water’s new flavours come in 500ml cartons and include lemon, blackberry, cucumber and grapefruit.
The latest additions to the brand’s range come in Boxed Water’s 92% plant-based packaging. The company says that its cartons are manufactured using paper sourced from trees in well-managed forests and are 100% recyclable, while the cap is also made from plant-based waste.
The new flavours will support Boxed Water’s One Million Trees campaign, which encourages consumers to post a picture of the brand’s products on social media and Boxed Water plants two trees with the National Forest Foundation.
“Consumers who support our mission and love our design have passionately called for more flavours almost since our inception, and we are listening,” said Boxed Water CMO, Robert Koenen.
“Our flavour launch comes at an exciting time – when consumers are looking for healthy, tasty and eco-friendly options to kick off 2021 and support a better planet. While everyone is talking about the ‘new normal’ we are working towards a ‘re-newed normal’.”
Launching in the first quarter of 2021, the new products will be available online and at select retailers.
