Culligan-owned Quench has announced the acquisition of Get Filtered, a Texas-based provider of mains-fed drinking water systems.
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in McAllen, Texas, Get Filtered serves more than 1,200 customers across the state.
This purchase marks Quench’s first acquisition of 2021 and its ninth in the past year, adding to the purchases of Pure Water Technology of San Diego, Sunnybrook Water Company and Dove Water in the last few months of 2020.
Todd Peterson, COO of Quench, said: “We are excited to welcome the Get Filtered team and their customers to the Quench family.
“This transaction adds substantial density to our existing customer base in Texas and is consistent with our mission to deliver great water and outstanding customer service to our customers.”
Ricky Suber, president of Get Filtered, added: “This is a great day for our customers. Quench is known for its state-of-the-art products and world-class customer service, so they were the natural acquirer for us.
“Additionally, the Quench team proved to be a great partner throughout the acquisition process.”
Culligan acquired Quench as part of its $1.1 billion purchase of AquaVenture Holdings, which closed in March 2020.
While owned by AquaVenture, Quench made a number of major acquisitions, including the purchase of Pure Planet Water and Jonli Water Services in December 2019, the acquisition of Carolina Pure Water in July 2019, and more.
