Tyson Foods has expanded its range of instant pot kits made in collaboration with Instant Brands, as well as released more family meal options.
Launched in the US under the Tyson brand, the company looks to offer families fresh meal shortcuts of comfort food classics.
With its protein-packed meals that require minimal preparation, Tyson also hopes to tap into the demand for prepared meals and the convenience trend.
The brand has added two new flavours to its instant pot kits range including a creamy chicken & noodle casserole kit and a creamy stroganoff beef & noodle kit. Both cook in 20-25 minutes and offer four to six servings with up to 20g of protein per serving.
Meanwhile, Tyson has also released a new chipotle seasoned chicken variety as part of its instant pot seasoned proteins line. The meal kit features chicken thighs paired with a mild chilli braising sauce to provide five servings and 16g of protein in each serving.
Finally, the new releases include an oven ready family size kit featuring roasted garlic alfredo fettuccine pasta and chicken.
“Families everywhere are looking for their next great-tasting dinner solution. It was important for us to offer our new varieties of fresh meal shortcuts to cut down on the time spent chopping and stirring so families can spend more time together at the table enjoying comfort food classics,” said Steve Silzer, senior marketing director for the Tyson brand.
All four new products are available nationwide at select retailers.
