Kraft Heinz has launched three new limited-edition mashup sauces in Canada, which were inspired by old social media posts.
The three creations are said to combine Canada’s favourite condiments and include Heinz Tarchup, Wasabioli and Hanch.
Heinz Tarchup features a mix of tartar sauce and Heinz Ketchup, which was shared in a decade-old tweet. Wasabioli blends wasabi and garlic aioli, while Hanch is a combination of hot sauce and ranch.
“We’ve seen incredible success with innovations such as Mayochup and Mayoracha,” said Daniel Gotlib, associate director, brand building and innovation, Kraft Heinz Canada.
“There’s a lot of appetite for Heinz mashups as consumers continue to explore bolder and more unique flavour pairings. Surprisingly, there is a lot of social conversation about condiment mashups and we saw an opportunity to work with our fans in creating mashups that are inspired by them,” he added.
In 2019, Heinz also added Mayocue and Mayomust to its range of fusion sauces in the US.
The sauces are now available for a limited time across Canada at select grocery stores for an RRP of $2.99.
