Danone is expanding its Volvic Touch of Fruit portfolio with the introduction of a new flavoured water with vitamin B6.
The launch of Touch of Fruit Pineapple & Orange Vitality with added vitamin B6 comes in response to consumer demand for healthy soft drink options.
The beverage is low in sugar and made with natural flavours and no artificial sweeteners, while also offering added vitamin B6, which Danone says helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Marking the brand’s first added-benefit product, the new Volvic Touch of Fruit offering is suitable for vegans and comes in a 100% recyclable bottle.
“This year, we’re excited to deliver for consumers looking for natural flavours with an extra boost of vitamin,” said Marie Chaigneau, brand manager at Danone Waters UK & Ireland.
“With its delicious blend of pineapple and orange flavours, this will no doubt be a popular addition to the Touch of Fruit range alongside our other iconic flavours,” she added.
Sold in individual 1.5 litre bottles (RRP: £1.10), as well as six-packs, the new product is currently rolling out to retailers nationwide in the UK, starting with Tesco.
Last year, Danone’s Evian brand unveiled a new label-free, fully recyclable water bottle that is made from 100% recycled materials, with the exception of the bottle cap.
