A group of Quebec investors led by Champlain Financial Corporation has announced the acquisition of Dion Herbs & Spices.
Founded in 1996, Dion Herbs & Spices currently offers more than 450 herb and spice products across nine categories.
The company’s portfolio includes organic and freeze-dried offerings, as well as salts, peppers, seasonings and blends, and its products are sold in more than 1,000 retail locations in Canada and the US.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Earlier this year, an investor group led by Champlain announced the acquisition of Quebec bakery Maison Isabelle under its newly formed investment platform, Humanity Bakeries, which has since added Aliments 2000 to its portfolio.
