Brazi Bites releases gluten-free Pizza’nadas in US

Frozen gluten-free food producer, Brazi Bites, has launched Pizza’nadas to offer a ‘Latin-inspired twist’ on pizza bites.

Pizza’nadas are an extension of Brazi Bites’ empanadas line and feature a Brazilian cheese bread base, stuffed with fresh mozzarella, uncured pepperoni and tomato sauce.

Offering a quick appetiser, snack, party food or light meal option, the new Pizza’nadas are free from gluten and artificial ingredients.

“Shoppers are actively searching for a gluten-free pepperoni pizza bite alternative that actually tastes good and is made with clean ingredients,” said Junea Rocha, co-founder and CMO of Brazi Bites.  

“In fact, a pizza bite option was the number one requested product by our consumers over the past 18 months.

“We took the idea straight to R&D, combining fresh mozzarella cheese, uncured pepperoni and tomato sauce for the inside, wrapping it in our crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside Brazilian cheese bread, to create a delicious, naturally gluten-free option.”

With an MSRP of $5.99, Brazi Bites’ Pizza’nadas are available at Wegmans, New Seasons, Lidl and select Safeway locations this month, as well as on Amazon.

Brazi Bites recently released a range of Latin-inspired Homestyle Breakfast Sandwiches in four varieties: Bacon, Turkey Sausage, Double Egg and Turkey Bacon.
