The Hershey Company announces launch of Kit Kat Blueberry Muffin

The Hershey Company, which produces Kit Kat bars under licence in the US, has unveiled a new muffin-inspired variant of the classic wafer treat.

Kit Kat Blueberry Muffin is said to feature notes of fresh and cooked blueberries and a cake batter-like muffin flavour, as well as graham cookie pieces folded into the bar. 

Available for a limited time, the new offering combines blueberry muffin-flavoured creme with the brand’s signature crispy wafers.

“Our product creators have such passion for deciding which flavour Kit Kat should take on next and making sure it delivers for our fans,” said Dan Williard, brand manager of Kit Kat. 

“Kit Kat Blueberry Muffin has already become one of our favourites; it has all the taste of a freshly baked blueberry muffin, but no baking required.”

The new flavour will be available at retailers nationwide in standard, king and snack sizes, starting this month.
