Galipette Cidre launches new rosé cider

French cider brand, Galipette Cidre, is launching a new rosé cider made with pommes à chair rouge from Brittany and Normandy.

Galipette Rosé has notes of fresh berries and aromas of blackcurrant leaf. The 4% abv drink contains no added sugar, sweeteners or additives and is gluten-free and vegan-friendly.

According to Galipette, the new SKU “uses the centuries-old artisan methods of keeving and wild yeast fermentation, which prevents the yeast from fully fermenting the cider apples so that their natural and fruity sweetness remains”. The brand explained that the drink “brings something completely new and unique to the UK cider market”.

Galipette Rosé will be available from Waitrose stores for an RRP of £2.00 per 330ml bottle.
