Crosta & Mollica has introduced a new dessert to its portfolio: Italian apricot crostata tartlets.
Made with the classic light and flaky Italian pastry, called ‘pasta frolla’, the buttery crust of these tartlets is layered with apricot conserve. It is then topped with the brand’s signature criss-crossed patterned pastry before being baked to a golden hue.
The apricot crostata tartlets will join the brand’s Italian sweet-baked products, which include: mini panettone and chocolate & hazelnut cornetti.
Crosta & Mollica’s apricot crostata is currently available at Waitrose stores for an RRP of £3.50.
