Charron, 66, has been a director of Campbell since 2003. He was Chairman and CEO of Liz Claiborne Inc from 1996 until his retirement in 2006, and held positions at Procter and Gamble and General Foods earlier in his career. Charron is currently a senior advisor at Warburg Pincus, a private equity firm, and a managing partner of Fidus Investment Partners.
