2 Sisters has expanded its Fox’s Biscuits Chunkie Cookie range in the UK with a new variant described as the brand’s “most indulgent cookie flavour yet”.
The extremely chocolatey dark chocolate, raspberry and hazelnut cookie is said to blend “indulgent flavour combinations and textures”.
Fox’s Biscuits senior brand manager Michelle Roberts said: “We are hugely excited to launch our brand new extremely chocolatey dark chocolate, raspberry and hazelnut cookies, which will look to fulfil shoppers’ demand for products that deliver indulgent treats for those ‘I earned this’ and extra special moments.
“The total cookies market has seen a growth of 10%. It’s now the fastest-growing sector in sweet biscuits driven by standard, premium and seasonal biscuits, making this the perfect time to launch our most indulgent cookie yet.”
The cookies, which are available with a recommended retail price of £1.65 per pack of seven, are made at Fox’s Kirkham Bakery in Lancashire and are free from artificial colours and preservatives.
Other variants in the Chunkie Cookie range are: extremely chocolatey half coated milk chocolate, milk chocolate chunk, white chocolate chunk, and triple chocolate chunk.
In February, 2 Sisters launched the Double Dough cookie range under the Fox’s brand. The line is available in two variants – strawberries and cream, and salted caramel and fudge brownie – and has been created to appeal to shoppers’ continued appetite for innovation and interesting flavour profiles.
