Bacardi has partnered with chocolatier Paul A Young to create a Negroni-infused chocolate collection using its Martini vermouth.
The chocolate truffles box has been launched to celebrate 100 years since the creation of the Negroni cocktail.
The Martini Rubino Negroni Truffle is made using Brazilian dark chocolate, Martini Riserva Speciale Bitter and Bombay Sapphire Gin. The ganache is encased in a Madagascan chocolate shell and finished with a gold and metallic scarlet decoration.
Meanwhile, the Martini Ambrato Negroni Truffle is a lighter Guittard white chocolate ganache using the Martini Riserva Speciale Ambrato, Martini Riserva Speciale Bitter and Bombay Sapphire. The truffles are encased in a blue and gold metallic chocolate shell.
In a statement, Bacardi said: “Combining the unique flavour profiles of Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino and Ambrato vermouths with rich blends of chocolate, Paul A Young has created a harmonious and rare balance that makes the ideal gift for chocolate lovers and cocktail connoisseurs alike.”
The limited-edition chocolate box is available in the UK with a recommended retail price of £15.50 and is sold alongside a bottle of Martini Riserva Speciale Ambrato or Rubino.
Earlier this year, Bacardi launched a new version of its Martini Asti sparkling wine designed to be served over ice.
