PepsiCo-owned fruit and vegetable crisp maker Bare Snacks has launched a new line of baked fruit and coconut chip blends.
Called Medleys, two variants are available in the US: pineapple chips and coconut chips, and apple chips and strawberry chips.
Bare Snacks said the Medleys can be enjoyed straight from the bag or as a topper to smoothies, yogurt or oatmeal.
The line is packaged in a resealable bag to offer convenience for on-go-snacking and lunchboxes.
“From pineapples and coconuts to apples and strawberries, our two new bare Medleys flavour combinations perfectly capture the sweetly satisfying taste of summer,” said Vandita Pandey, senior director, Bare Snacks.
“Bare Medleys bring the signature Bare crunch to new popular fruits for a delicious snacking experience with simple ingredients.”
As well as Bare’s portfolio of baked crunchy snacks – including apple chips, banana chips, coconut chips and veggie chips – the Medleys contain no artificial flavours, colours, or preservatives.
Bare Medleys are available in the US for $4.29 per 1.6-1.8oz bag.
Bare Snacks was acquired by PepsiCo last year as part of PepsiCo’s strategy to grow its snack business in light of faltering soda sales.
