Beam Suntory has expanded its Effen vodka portfolio in the US with two new flavours, as it looks to offer consumers more dynamic taste profiles.
With an ABV of 37.5%, Effen rosé and Effen yuzu citrus are now available with a suggested retail price of $21.99 per 750ml bottle. Both are made with wheat from northern France and are filtrated and distilled in the Netherlands.
Beam Suntory said the rosé variant “turns the rosé wine trend on its head with its unique taste profile”. It is best served with soda or combined with sparkling wine.
Meanwhile, the yuzu citrus vodka was created “to embody the subtle beauty of yuzu”, a fruit with a flavour profile that is said to resemble a combination of lemon and grapefruit. The beverage is best served neat or with grapefruit club soda.
Effen rosé is best served with soda or combined with sparkling wine.
Clement Reid, marketing director at Beam Suntory, said: “Everything about Effen Vodka is different, from its distillation and bottle design to its smooth, clean taste, and we’re committed to providing unparalleled quality to our consumers.
“Both Effen rosé and Effen yuzu citrus will bring dynamic taste profiles into the vodka category, from yuzu’s Japanese-inspired roots to rosé’s innovative spin on traditional rosé wine. We’re excited to bring these new offerings to vodka lovers everywhere.”
Other flavours in the Effen Vodka portfolio include blood orange, green apple, raspberry, cucumber, and black cherry.
