The three lists of Top 10s split across three categories: sweet flavours (confectionery, bakery, dairy), savoury flavours (meat, condiments, dressings, sauces, soups, seasoning), and beverage flavours (non-alcoholic, alcoholic).
The lists are tabulated via three methods. The first method is to track samples that have been requested over a 12-month period. The second method is ‘trend scouting’ these flavours, a task performed by the company’s marketing and R&D departments on four continents. The third method is to compile flavour trends that come from external resources.
