Beyond Better Foods unveils Enlightened sugar-free cones

Beyond Better Foods has expanded its Enlightened portfolio in the US with the introduction of new sugar-free cones containing only 30 calories.

Enlightened says that the new vegan offering is low in carbohydrates and makes the perfect match for any light, keto or dairy-free ice cream.

Enlightened’s cones reportedly offer half the calories of a classic sugar cone and only 3g of net carbs and 0g of sugar.

Enlightened CEO and founder, Michael Shoretz, said: “We are all familiar with that essential question from our local scoop shop: Cup or Cone? We kept all of the best aspects of a classic sugar cone–the flavour and crunch–and left out the sugar.

“Pair it with any ice cream, like our new light Caramel Fudge Pretzel or low-carb P.B. Cookie & Brownie Dough to create a celebratory dessert experience at home.”

With an MSRP of $4.99-5.99, Enlightened’s sugar-free cones are available online via the brand’s website and Amazon.

The new offering will also be rolling out to retailers including Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market and Kroger in the coming months.
