Blue Bell blends vanilla cookies with caramel for new ice cream

Blue Bell Creameries has boosted its ice cream portfolio in the US with a new salted caramel cookie flavour.

The product features creamy caramel ice cream with vanilla crème-filled cookies and a salted caramel swirl.

“Our new salted caramel cookie ice cream is a perfect combination of sweet and salty,” said Jimmy Lawhorn, vice president, sales and marketing for Blue Bell.

“What makes this flavour stand out from all of the others is the cookie. The vanilla crème-filled cookie balances the caramel ice cream and salted swirl perfectly.”

The salted caramel cookie ice cream is now available for a limited time in half-gallon and pint sizes.

The release comes after Blue Bell launched a raspberry fudge brownie ice cream earlier this year. The product features almond ice cream combined with fudge brownie chunks, flakes of dark chocolate and a raspberry sauce swirl.

Other Blue Bell ice cream flavours include: pistachio almond, banana pudding, and strawberries and homemade vanilla.
