Blupura’s new headquarters were officially opened on 21 June by Scott Clawson, president and CEO of Culligan International, the parent company of Blupura.
This transfer is the third in the history of Blupura – which has grown strongly in such a short amount of time thanks to the passion and knowledge of the staff. The experience and vision of Gianni Grottini and Luca Costantini have guided Blupura so far, but this is only the beginning of an important company that still has a lot to give to the Recanati area and to the whole world; offering highly technological solutions for drinking water, while contributing to the plastic waste reduction.
With 11,000 square-metres of space and ten production lines, Blupura now offers a production capacity of 100,000 units. Thanks to a team of 125 people, the company distributes its water coolers in over 75 countries worldwide, offering solutions of high technology and great design.
An example is its latest electronic tap that uses artificial intelligence, and was specifically developed for an important international airport in the US to support its transition to plastic free, while also offering the utmost safety in terms of hygiene during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the same time, Blupura has launched its latest commercial promoting its water vending machine BLU2GO. BLU2GO is a sustainable water vending machine that, through an ecological process, dispenses four types of water into cups or bottles and allows the purchase of a 500ml thermal water bottle. The machine also carries out a bottle cleansing process using filtered and ozonated water.
With BLU2GO, consumers can avoid the use of disposable cups or plastic bottles. It has a user-friendly multilingual interface with a colour touch display and an easy-to-access menu, in compliance with ADA regulations to ensure it is accessible to people with disabilities.
BLU2GO is a smart solution for all public areas where a source of fresh water is needed; ideal for schools, shopping centres, parks, stations, gyms and more.
Blupura’s research and development (R&D) department is constantly working on refining new technologies based on sustainable principles to provide a future for the next generations and the planet.
