US bakery brand Bobo’s has launched a line of oat-based snacks mixed with jam ahead of the new school year in the US.
Called Stuff’d Bites, the oat bars are available in two flavours: apple pie, and peanut butter and jelly. Baked with whole grain oats and organic fruit jam, the snacks are said to be high in protein and fibre.
Bobo’s founder and president Beryl Stafford said: “I’ve always wanted our PB&J and apple pie bites to replicate the taste and texture kids expect from a homemade PB&J sandwich or fresh apple pie.
“These new Stuff’d oatmeal bites allow us to give consumers a delicious jam centre inside of the oat bar crust they already love.”
The range is now available in the US, retailing at $4.99 per pack of five.
Founded in 2003, Bobo’s makes a line of 16 different 3oz oat bars. Flavours include lemon poppyseed, coconut almond, maple pecan and banana chocolate chip.
It also sells a range of toaster pastries in variants such as chocolate almond and blueberry lemon.
