Brain Füd is relaunching its range of natural energy drinks in Tetra Pak cartons as it moves away from plastic bottles.
The new packaging is 100% recyclable and uses sustainably sourced paperboard. Brain Füd said it was drawn to the cartons which, unlike aluminium cans, are resealable and will broaden its beverages drinking occasions to include workouts and sports.
Founded by Philip Udeh, who created the drink after struggling with chronic fatigue caused by sickle cell disease, Brain Füd claims to be a “smarter energy drink for health-conscious consumers who want a healthy, refreshing alternative” to coffee and sugary energy drinks.
The brand said its beverages provide a “natural and hydrating boost to energy levels, brain power and muscle function”.
Brain Füd’s range is available in three flavours which each contain functional vitamins and minerals that help to combat tiredness and fatigue: pineapple and ginger, berry and coconut, and citrus and mint.
Philip Udeh said: “Our move to Tetra Pak means that we’re not just smarter and cleaner than your average energy drink, but that Brain Füd can be enjoyed during active occasions, unlike so many other energy drinks in their aluminium cans. Whether at your desk, on the run or having fun – Brain Füd provides a fruity, refreshing way to be at your best, naturally.”
Each of the cartons is now available in the UK for £1.85.
