North American food processor, Canyon Creek Food Company, is investing CAD 1.7 million ($1.3 million approx.) to increase capacity at its production facility.
The expansion project at the Canadian plant will include investments in equipment and infrastructure.
Based in Alberta, Canyon Creek produces fresh soups and other prepared food products for grocery retailers and foodservice establishments.
“The investment will be in equipment and infrastructure, thereby increasing production capacity,” said Terry Alty, president of Canyon Creek.
“We secured an additional 23,000 square feet in August 2019 to allow for anticipated demand increases from North American customers.”
