Grain-free food producer, Cappello’s, has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of two almond flour ravioli varieties.
Ready in less than eight minutes, the grain-free offerings are said to contain 16-17g of protein per serving, as well as healthy fats.
The new five cheese variant features a savoury blend of ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, fontina and asiago cheeses. Meanwhile, the spinach & cheese variety combines spinach with creamy ricotta.
“For ten years, Cappello’s continues to set the new standard for frozen-fresh foods devoted to taste and nutrition,” said Ben Frohlichstein, co-founder and co-CEO of Cappello’s.
“With the introduction of our raviolis, this is a flavoursome experience unlike any other, which brings this Italian classic into 2021 with our nutritionally relevant offering.”
The new almond flour ravioli products can be found in the frozen aisle of Whole Foods Market stores across the US ($9.99), and will also be available to purchase via the brand’s website from 11 May ($11.00).
