Clio Snacks, the US brand behind Greek yogurt bars wrapped in chocolate, is set to launch Clio Greek Yogurt Minis.
Made from Greek yogurt with live and active cultures in a cheesecake texture, Clio Minis are described as “permissible treats that bridge the gap between yogurt and fresh snacking”.
The gluten-free range will be available in four flavours: vanilla, strawberry, peanut butter and salted caramel.
Each dark chocolate-wrapped bar has 3-4g of protein and billions of probiotics, as Clio aims to offer functional benefits.
“We’re hearing from Clio fans that they want to treat themselves and feel good doing so,” said Heather Cox, general manager at Clio Snacks.
The Clio Minis range will be available in packs of eight bars with a suggested retail price of $5.49.
“Clio Bars and now Clio Minis, in a sharable multi-pack format, allow us to satisfy sweet cravings without sacrificing lifestyle goals. They’re a tasty treat perfect for sharing post-yoga class, during a commute or as a decadent dessert.”
The Clio Minis range will be available in the US as of December in packs of eight bars with a suggested retail price of $5.49.
New Jersey-based Clio Snacks was founded in 2015 by Sergey Konchakovskiy, who believes the health benefits of the bars combined with their on-the-go format has enabled the brand to differentiate itself.
This year, Clio has doubled retail distribution with availability in more than 6,000 locations.
