Indian snacks manufacturer Cofresh Snack Foods has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of new Mango Chutney Grills and Onion Bhaji Corn Crackers.
Said to feature “the UK’s most popular Anglo-Indian flavours”, the new offerings are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
The new Grills combine mango chutney’s sweet and spicy elements, including a hint of mint, in a potato-based snack.
Meanwhile, Cofresh says that the Onion Bhaji Corn Crackers faithfully recreate the flavour of the classic Indian appetiser.
“The last year in lockdown has seen increased demand for new varieties but people are also embracing the comfort factor found in familiar flavours,” said Jon Roberts, Cofresh brand manager.
“The renewed interest in health and wellbeing also means there’s a fantastic opportunity for our Grills to shine – with 30% less fat than the market leader and no reduction in the flavours that Cofresh is renowned for, they’re exactly what consumers are seeking.”
With an RRP of £0.83 per bag, the new snacks are available at Asda stores across the UK.
