Ecotone’s Clipper Teas launches two organic hemp infusions

Ecotone UK has expanded its Clipper Teas portfolio with the brand’s first range of organic hemp infusions to help consumers relax and unwind.

The line features two blends – Clipper Organic Karma Mama Hemp and Clipper Organic Groovy Ginger Hemp – developed to offer a calming, self-care infusion with functional, natural ingredients.

Clipper Organic Karma Mama Hemp is infused with hemp seed, chamomile, lavender, lemon balm and tulsi (holy basil). Meanwhile, Organic Groovy Ginger Hemp features hemp seed and ginger extract alongside lemongrass and chamomile.

Setting it apart from others in the hemp tea segment, Clipper Teas says the new blends use hemp seed which is ordinarily discarded in hemp production. The products do not contain CBD.

Each blend uses organic, natural ingredients and all tea bags are unbleached, non-GMO and made with biodegradable, plant-based materials.

“Functional ingredients such as hemp have grown in popularity with shoppers looking to unwind and take advantage of the natural health benefits,” said Bryan Martins, Clipper Teas marketing and category director at Ecotone UK.

He added: “During a period of high stress and anxiety for many, Clipper wanted to create a calming drink for customers to enjoy. We’re confident the new Hemp innovations will perform well with health food customers and will appeal to those interested in ethical and sustainable brands.”

The new hemp-infused teas are available in select health food stores and online for an RRP of £2.80 per pack of 20 tea bags.
