Cloud Water Brands has raised $2.7 million in seed round funding, as it looks to expand the distribution of its beverages.
Founded in 2019, Cloud Water Brands is a New York-based brand offering a range of functional beverage products.
The company’s portfolio includes CBD sparkling waters and a line of beverages that aim to support immune health.
Cloud Water Brands’ new funding comes on the heels of the national launch of the sparkling Cloud Water + Immunity line.
The round received participation from a number of investors, including B.I.N. Sales and Marketing founder and former Glaceau board member, Bruce Nierenberg, and current and former professional ice hockey players, Adam Fox and Scott Mellanby.
“Closing this round with a reputable group of strategic investors will allow Cloud Water Brands to further expand our product lines in both retail and direct to consumer,” said the company’s co-founder and CEO, Marc Siden.
“Despite the economic impacts brought on by the pandemic, we were able to grow the business by over 300% in 2020. With a handful of powerhouse names and experience now behind the brand, and a national distribution network, this looks to be Cloud Water Brands’ breakout year.”
