General Mills has added new high-protein yogurts to its :Ratio product line, as it looks to help consumers achieve their wellness goals.
With 25g of protein and 3g of sugar, General Mills claims the product offers the most protein in the yogurt aisle in a single-serve cup.
Made with ultra-filtered non-fat milk and whey protein, :Ratio Protein comes in five flavours: strawberry, vanilla, blueberry, coconut and key lime. Each serving of the dairy snack contains 170 calories, 4g of fat and 7g of net carbs.
General Mills first launched the :Ratio line in September 2020 with the introduction of keto-friendly ‘dairy snacks’ and crunchy bars, which contain 2g of net carbs and 1g of sugar per serving.
“As a leader in the yogurt and dairy category, General Mills is focused on product innovation to help our consumers meet their varying health and fitness goals,” said Doug Martin, president of General Mills’ dairy operating unit.
He added: “We know consumers are seeking protein and with the introduction of :Ratio Protein, we’re providing a delicious solution within a familiar snack that delivers the most protein in the yogurt aisle in a single serve cup.”
:Ratio Protein is available now at major retailers nationwide for an RRP of $1.69 per cup.
