General Mills unveils Old El Paso and Takis collaboration

General Mills has expanded its Old El Paso range with new flavoured taco shells in collaboration with US crisp brand Takis. 

The new product is inspired by Takis ‘Fuego’ crisp flavour and is named ‘Hot Chili Pepper and Lime-Flavoured Stand ‘N Stuff Taco Shells’.

Ryan Harrington, vice president of Walmart, General Mills, said: “The Takis Fuego and Old El Paso collaboration is focused on bold flavors and fun. We’re introducing the newest breakthrough innovation that consumers have been searching for, meeting their needs for a spicy taco shell with unique flavor.”

The new taco product is available in the US in family-sized sets of 10 (5.4 oz) at an RRP of $2.48.

They are available exclusively now at Walmart stores nationwide and on the website from early 2022.
