GTCR announces acquisition of PPC Flexible Packaging

Private equity firm GTCR has announced that it has acquired packaging manufacturer, PPC Flexible Packaging (PPC), for an undisclosed sum. 

PPC specialises in flexographic printing and the conversion of flexible films, bags, pouches and prototype packaging.

The manufacturer is known for its packaging in healthcare and medical applications, snack and organic brands, specialty produce, pet, nutraceutical, bakery and horticulture markets.

David Donnini, managing director of GTCR, commented: “Kevin and the PPC team have built a remarkable business in a short period of time by acquiring differentiated packaging assets focused on attractive end markets”.

He continued: “We look forward to being partners with the PPC team and continuing their successful consolidation of high-quality flexible packaging companies”.

The acquisition intends to grow incremental equity to fund future transactions and expansion opportunities.
