Coconut-based beverages manufacturer Harmless Harvest has launched Protein & Coconut, a new line of plant-based snack drinks.
Made with a blend of plant proteins including pea, sunflower and pumpkin, the range is available in the US in three flavours: chocolate, vanilla spice and toasted coconut.
Harmless Harvest said the beverages help bridge the gap between meals thanks to the combination of protein, natural coconut fat and fibre.
“Protein & Coconut builds on the integrity of the Harmless Harvest coconut portfolio by continuing to uphold our fair for life commitment of social accountability and fair trade within our supply chain,” said Heather Cutter, senior vice president, brand, innovation and marketing at Harmless Harvest.
“Plant-based eaters finally have access to a drinkable snack that not only tastes amazing but is also nutritionally balanced with recognisable ingredients.”
The Protein & Coconut range is available in the US with a suggested retail price of $3.99 per bottle.
Last year, Harmless Harvest raised $30 million in a funding round and secured the backing of Danone Manifesto Ventures.
Founded in 2010, the brand makes organic coconut water that is produced through a micro-filtration process.
