Heineken has chosen GetSwift as its exclusive logistics supplier for direct-to-home beer deliveries in the Mexican market.
The agreement will see GetSwift handle Heineken deliveries from around 12,000 stores in Mexico, building upon recently signed distribution agreements between the two companies in Egypt, Malaysia and the Philippines.
GetSwift’s platform provides navigation tools for drivers who deliver beer by motorcycle, and also provides information that allows dispatchers to predict when new orders can be picked up from warehouses.
According to Heineken, this information has helped Heineken boost delivery volume and speed in the Philippines, and Heineken expects this can be achieved in the Mexican market.
