Interview: AquiSense discusses the growth of UVC LEDs for water treatment

At Aquatech Amsterdam 2019, Aquisense Technologies CEO Oliver Lawal discussed the growth of UVC LED technology in the water dispensing market, as well as the company’s partnership with Oasis International and the range of applications that UVC LEDs can fulfil.

Lawal highlighted that increasing numbers of water dispenser manufacturers are incorporating UVC LEDs in their machines to guarantee product safety and offer a ‘last line of defence’.

One example of this is Aquisense’s partnership with water dispenser manufacturer Oasis International. The two companies worked together for over a year as to develop the Quasar solution, which uses AquiSense’s ultraviolet light-emitting PearlAqua diode to provide safe drinking water.
