Interview: FrieslandCampina showcases products in the performance nutrition market

FrieslandCampina’s project manager of performance nutrition, Ramon Mommersteeg, and marketing manager of early life nutrition, Timo Faber, spoke to Bryony Andrews at FIE 2019, about how its ingredients in the performance nutrition and early life nutrition markets meet the trends for convenience, taste and personalisation.

During the show, Mommersteeg was showcasing FrieslandCampina’s latest Clear Protein Water, which contains nutri whey isolate clear, to allow full recovery. Mommersteeg explains how the drink provides on-the-go convenience, great taste, and the functionality of protein.

Timo Faber, meanwhile, discusses FrieslandCampina’s new product Vivinal MFGM, an infant formula grade whey protein concentrate containing proteins and lipids. Created for the early life nutrition market, Vivinal MFGM benefits consumers’ immune system and cognition, with a strong focus on natural ingredients.

Finally, Mommersteeg and Faber discuss the company’s plans for 2020, with a focus on sustainability.
