John West launches two tuna meatball ready meal ranges

John West has released two new ready meal ranges featuring tuna meatballs in the UK, claiming that the new products represent a ‘category first’.

The two new ranges – John West Tuna Bowls and John West Bites for Kids – both pair tuna meatballs with a selection of vegetables and either pasta, beans or rice to create convenient, microwaveable meals.

Three flavour variants are available in both ranges. John West Tuna Bowls range includes Chilli & Garlic, Tomato Sauce with Penne Pasta; Fajita Sauce with Beans, Red Peppers and Rice; and Smokey BBQ Sauce with Sweetcorn and Rice.

Meanwhile, the John West Tuna Bites for Kids range includes Tomato Sauce with Penne Pasta; BBQ Sauce with Sweetcorn and Rice; and Cheesy Tomato Sauce with Macaroni.

Both ranges will be available in the UK from the end of August. John West Tuna Bowls will have a suggested retail price of £2.49, while John West Tuna Bites for Kids will have a suggested retail price of £1.79.
