Dairy brand Jude’s has released its first range of ready-to-drink, premium milkshakes in the UK, which aim to provide a flavour experience that ‘isn’t too sweet’ for consumers.
Packaged in 100% recyclable aluminium cans which feature Jude’s iconic stripes, the drinks aim to give a “nostalgic milkshake experience for grown-ups” by providing a ‘balanced’ taste, allowing consumers to enjoy the drink in one sitting.
The milkshake range includes three flavours: chocolate, salted caramel and flat white coffee, and all flavours will be launched in Sainsbury’s on the 9 June 2019.
Jude’s flat white coffee is made from 100% Arabica beans; the chocolate milkshake is crafted with an indulgent cocoa blend, and the salted caramel flavour aims to recreate the taste and experience of the brand’s ice cream.
Chow Mezger, managing director at Jude’s said: “We have designed these drinks to be as smooth and delicious as possible. We have been very conscious to get the right level of sweetness so that the flavours are balanced and people can enjoy the whole can in one sitting.
“This is a milkshake experience for grown-ups on the go; not too sweet, not to thick, just smooth and full of flavour. The aluminium cans are the perfect format for an on-the-go treat with their 100% recyclable credentials.”
100ml cans and 250ml cans of all flavours will be available. 100ml cans will have a suggested retail price of £0.69, while the 250ml variants will have an SRP of £1.50 per can.
