Kellogg has teamed up with Little Debbie Snacks to launch a new cereal inspired by the brand’s creme pies.
The Kellogg’s Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Cereal features oatmeal cookie-flavoured cereal pieces made using cinnamon, nutmeg and molasses, with a sweet, ‘creme-y’ coating.
“The original Little Debbie snack cakes, Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies, have delighted millions of kids and adults alike for generations,” said Erin Storm, senior marketing director of Kellogg all family cereal.
“With Kellogg’s Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies Cereal, families can experience the iconic snack in a whole new form, building new breakfast memories while paying homage to the beloved childhood snack.”
Jeff Badger, vice president of marketing at McKee Foods, the maker of Little Debbie Snacks, added: “The cereal captures the flavour of Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies in a fun, new way, whether you enjoy it in a bowl with milk or straight out of the box.”
With an RRP of $3.99 for a 9.1oz box and $5.69 for a 14.5oz box, the new cereal is available online and in stores nationwide in the US.
Last year, Kellogg joined forces with the developers of popular video game Minecraft, Mojang Studios, to create a new breakfast offering: Creeper Crunch Cereal.
