KPM Analytics has acquired EyePro System, an Italian company that specialises in vision inspection technology for the baking and snack industries.
EyePro System provides integrated solutions for product inspection, process control and product handling in the baking and snack food industry. With the acquisition, KPM Analytics says it will better serve food manufacturing and processing markets with true colour, 3D and hyperspectral vision inspection systems.
Following the integration of EyePro into KPM Analytics, customers will reportedly experience increased manufacturing capacity, improved sales, a wider portfolio and an expanded regional presence.
Upon completion of the acquisition, EyePro will continue to operate from its headquarters in Trento, Italy.
Together, KPM Analytics says the EyePro and Sightline product lines will deliver 100% inspection capabilities and automatic defect removal, which will enable system users to increase productivity, reduce production costs and improve product quality.
“EyePro has established itself as a pioneer in the growing market for vision inspection systems, mainly in the area of baked foods production,” said Brian Mitchell, CEO of KPM Analytics.
